Who we're looking for

We seek a passionate individual comfortable navigating through ambiguity, adept at creative problem-solving, user-centered design processes, and UI design. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and enthusiastic about solving problems cross-functionally. In our multi-functional Product team, you'll wear many hats, incorporating UX research into your design solutions. You won’t be working alone - a collaborative team of designers, engineers, and product strategists will be there to support you.
This hybrid role will be based in our Mooresville, NC office, offering a flexible in-office policy.

As a valuable member of our team, you will
  • Deliver polished designs. Craft highly-polished visual designs while extending existing design systems.
  • Optimize UX/UI patterns. Systematically think about and enhance UX/UI patterns for optimal user experience.
  • Develop domain expertise. Gain subject-matter expertise - understanding user problems, business goals, and identifying market gaps.
  • End-to-end partnership. Collaborate cross-functionally to oversee the entire experience, from concept to launch.
  • Craft performant UX strategy. Embrace tooling and collaboration to integrate high-performing UX copy into your designs.
  • Collaborate across teams. Work closely with Product, Marketing, and CX teams, leveraging UX research insights for iterative improvements.
  • Balance user needs and business goals. Effectively strike a balance between user needs and overarching business objectives.
  • Support teammates. Collaborate, critique, and provide feedback to support your teammates.
  • Prototype and iterate. Build prototypes for design validation, iterate based on data and findings, fostering innovation.
  • Autonomous responsibility. Embrace autonomy, accountability, and take responsibility for every detail throughout the process.
In an ideal candidate we seek
  • Experience matters. You have 5+ years of experience crafting consumer-focused tech designs across diverse platforms (web, mobile, apps, etc.).
  • Showcase your skills. You have a compelling portfolio demonstrating a seasoned, keen eye for visual design, a clean command over interaction design, and mastery of usability and design strategy.
  • Master of the tools of the trade. You live and breathe Figma and are experienced in prototyping and in building/maturing/maintaining design systems.
  • Communication is key. You’re a thoughtful communicator, collaborator, and thought leader - someone who not only delivers great work but also brings a strategic vision to life.
  • Continuous self-development. You have an eagerness to grow by actively seeking feedback and engaging in collaborative learning.
  • Proactive ownership approach. You have a proven track record of managing time effectively and taking ownership instead of waiting for instructions.
  • Adaptability. You thrive in a fast-changing environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability - especially in situations where there may be more ambiguity, you’re adept at problem solving.
  • Passion and fun. You’re enthusiastic about your work, finding fun in the process, and arguably most important, you have a great sense of humor.
